I’ve never been anywhere but I’m still tip top okay
Getting worried. I need to go shopping tomorrow at my local Tesco's - it's in Filey and all the police are saying that they'll stop people going to the coast!
And yet (in a deserted city centre) my son ...'daring' to speak to a friend after buying a loaf of bread...gets moved on by plod...

Senseless!

Isn't there somewhere else not near the coast jourdain?
Perhaps more people in cities are ignoring the rules, nailit. We shouldn’t demonise the police for trying to keep the public safe. There are a lot of idiots out there. They’re not to know who is and who isn’t.
They're too busy monitoring the supermarkets for contraband.
Assuming the Tesco in Filey isn't closed, if stopped just tell them that's where you are going Jourdain.

You can go anywhere you like on Google Earth, Have just come back from Spain. :0) :0)
I knew more than anyone that you wouldn't have broken the rules.

Nope, no ignoring here Naomi, just a case of keep moving please...(over) 2 metres apart but dont chat (unless you're stuck in a queqe for Tesco, then it ok to chat to a complete stranger...)
Sensless!
it's like me Teacake - I go to a concert every night, more old ones but absolutely brilliant!
//it's like me Teacake - I go to a concert every night//
FGS, the 'old ones' can do what they like while the younger ones get castigated for talking to a friend?
For Funks Sake!
The social-distancing concept seems to be hard to understand in the largish market town I went to today (for food shopping that's cheaper than my local Waitrose) - I was the one swerving into the road and all over the pavement trying to distance myself from idiots glued to their phones. In the supermarket with distance lines clearly marked I had to ask a lady behind me to take a step or two back as she was completely ignoring the markings. What is wrong with people? I'll stick to Waitrose for the foreseeable future where the whole thing is properly managed and observed.
Stupid swear filter as well,,,,
JJ watches an online concert - take a breath.
Follow the thread, nailit, instead of jumping in.
//JJ watches an online concert - take a breath//
That makes all the difference then.
Apologies.

Just strange times!
