A friend, a City worker, who is now working from home - as are his staff - celebrated his birthday the other day. Unable to take the traditional cakes to the office he emailed everyone a picture of a huge plate of cakes. The picture has come back multiple times with names added to each cake and notes like, ‘I’ve had this one’, or ‘This one was yummy!’. Not only that, virtual birthday cards and pictures of bottles of wine have been arriving too.

Oh, it’s good to be British! Humour reigns!

I'm sure there would have been a 'sorry I'm gluten intolerant' in amongst the comments too lol!
Don't forget the vegan complaining that the cake had egg in it! ;)
Lots of Skype parties about, as there will be on Mother's Day too - the fun of the cake without the calories too.
I like that, good if you can't celebrate in person.
