When we were small, Christmas Night was reserved for playing games as a family, even if it was a board game but usually charades...and yes we had television, in fact we were the first in our street to get in (Dad was a Radio/TV Engineer when he came out of the RAF)
I remember it a time of great fun and continued with the tradition with my own family
Do you have a tradition that has carried on down the years, passed to you by your parents?

We have a traditional family game that stems from my student days. We play it every Xmas.

Tilt your head back & place an After Eight mint on your forehead. The aim is to get it into your mouth using ONLY your facial muscles.

Helpful hint: don't sit near the fire when you play this

We always play trivia and charades. A family traqdition is one where you go out of the room amd the rest decide who you are and you come back and ask questions with only yes or no as an answer to guess who you are - eg am I female, famous, living or dead, fact, fictional etc etc etc
