Seriously though, the answer is no, as not only can you be sued by the poor darlings who try to break into your house, I don't think the neighbors cats will be too happy.

after being burgled I was told by the visiting police man to put carpet grippers on the top of the fence. I never did.

I would advise asking you local crime prevention officer.

it fits on top of the fencing panels and plastic spikes stand at about 2 inches high and looks good as well!! not only does it deter intruders, it also stops cats jumping on your fence!!!
