i tried to have sex for the first time last night (my boyfriend's a virgin too) and we couldnt get his penis to enter. I really like him, we've discussed it all and i feel perfectly ready to go the whole way (we've done everything there is still to do) but i literally didnt know how to get him inside. Are we doing somethin wrong? Thanks in advance x

Don't worry, an ex boyfriend of mine had this problem the first time we tried it as he was so nervous about it.

Sorry for the personal question, but was he maybe not quite hard enough to go in or were you to tight to let him in?

Sounds like you were both just trying a bit to hard, don't worry, just relax and let it happen without trying to force it. Just just going at it gently, him gently pushing it in bit by bit in a nice rocking movement so you both get used to it gently rather than him just trying to stick it all right in in one go.

Don't rush it it's not a competition, take your time. A couple of drinks may help (depending on how old you are) to relax you, don't overdo it though as that can make things worse and you want it to be a nice experience and not one you're too drunk to remember or enjoy.

Play with each other lots first to get each other ready (don't just dive straight in), make sure he's hard enough and you're wet enough, maybe use some lubricant if it makes it easier, you can get it from Boots/Superdrug round where the condoms are.

How old are you if you don't mind me asking? Just it can be difficult if you've had to sneak somewhere and are at risk of being caught etc... That can put uneccesary pressure on and make things more difficult to relax.

Hope this helps : ) x
will it be ok if i suscribe to this thread???
Having sex while you are sboth standing up may help this situation.
try a didlo 1st maybe to practice, then try the real thing using similar technique once its worked.
Or get a vibrator you can both have some fun with :)

This was directed towards adults though, sorry I keep qualifying myself but i'm worried we may be giving advice to some very young people, no offence intended!

hey thanks so much for the advice. Sorry i should have said, we're both 18 and at uni x
If it was his 1st time he may have been nervous. Perhaps a gentleman of some experience would be able to help. I've never had any problems entering virgins
18........this gets better and better!!!!!
Why do some people have to cheapen sensitive subjects with inane giggling from the back of the room ?

It's not funny, it's not clever, it's not macho, it just makes you look pathetic.

thanks whiffey...and thanks for all the useful advice guys x
Even if you are both mentally ready, and he is wearing a lubricated condom, it will still take a little patience before his penis is lubicated enough to move backwards and forwards easily and smoothly.

As sugested, a little gentle pushing, and relaxation will help, take tour time, it's not a race, and like everything new in life, intercourse takes a little practice to get it right. That's really a lot of the fun!
