Olympics again ~ why do the divers go into that little pool after each dive?

Tom doesn't... He goes to the shower instead. And I don't know why, sorry.
It's a hot tub thing isn't it, to keep warm anyway.
I keep warm I believe, I did think it was to wash the chlorine off.
it's fresh water ... to wash off the chlorine from the pool ... also it's warm to keep from getting cold.
One question I have about the diving - how do they have the nerve to be up there let alone hurl themselves off the board. I feel queasy watching it
I always think they're going to smash their head off the board as they spin, it makes me wince every time I watch a dive.

Aren't they ozone pools now?

The plunge pools are warmer and ease the muscles.

At my last job we had a competition to see who was the best 'bus diver' of the year. I did not win as I was merely a bus driver.
