Just having a rant - bought a pair of Clarks sandals off Ebay Size 4 brand new - when they arrived they are most definately not a 4 but more a size 3. I have small size 4 feet and very slim. I think thats why this person sold them, they knew they were not a true size 4. Waste of 15 quid.

I will know have to resell them on Ebay, grrrrrrrrr

That the only problem with Ebay you can't try what you buy.

It would buy them from you but I don't have feet ?

if they say 4 inside, then i would imagine den would have no comeback
if they are new, is the size not on them?

I did email her, Canary, but she just wrote back saying she is selling them for her Mum, but she completely didn't mention about sizing.

Thats the problem, bednobs, it says a 4 on the sole, but any idiot an see, before trying on, they are a size 3.

Oh well, I'll put them back on Ebay saying they are a small 4. I bet I don't sell them now. {:o(
I go from 4.5 to size 6 depending on shoe brand
When you sell say they are more suited to a 3 and even measure them, someone will buy them towie xxxxx
I brought shoes that were a size 7 on ebay and they were massive on me. The shoes said size 7 (UK) and it was just unfortunate, I now know in that particular shop I am a size 6 and not a size 7... I'm like woof and seem to have different sized feet depending on which shop I'm in.

It's a pain but if it says 4 on the sole then I really don't think it's the sellers fault. Hopefully you'll get your money back.
Against my usual advice. I would take them into a Clarkes shop and ask if they had any idea whether the line had been subject to a recall.
sorry to clarify, it is possible they were retailed through a clearance shoe chain due to an error in the factory when stamping the size on the sole.
So when you sell them on are you going to admit it says 4 on the sole but IYO it is a size 3 ? If you do would anyone want to risk your judgement ? Maybe better to give them to a charity shop and learn from the experience.

Dotty - that did cross my mind. I think she may have bought them in an outlet shop, as the size 4 is printed on the sole, but normally with Clarks, the size is also printed on the inside of the strap, which its not.

OldGeezer - most definately I will list them as a 3/4 and then explain why I have listed them as this.
