Marriage certificate

Not sure where to put this. Can anyone tell me who needs to see an original certificate to prove change of name (banks, passport office, etc) and who will accept a photocopy.

I only needed to show the bank an original. I got my passport changed before I got married, by sending a letter from the registrar, so not sure about that one.
The bank and the passport office will need the originals hun. Other places will accept certified copies of the original.

How you do this is take a photocopy of the certificate, then draw two lines through it with the words

I CERTIFY THAT THIS IS A TRUE COPY OF THE ORIGINAL

and then sign and date it
