i just think that as long as they are not eating loads of sweets and chocolate that can have as much as they want. my boys love little packs of raisins and dried fruit as snacks whaere as because my sister dont like them she wont give them to her daughter.
if my boys dont eat there sandwich they dont get the rest but if they do and they want 3 pieces of fruit they can have it
i completely agree with you i wouldn't worry what others are doing with there kids you just carry on as you are and leave her to do it her way.
All parents have different views as how to raise there children and not every1 is the same
my son will have philidephia sarnies or ham or jam. sometimes he eats crackers and cheese or cheese on toast.

he then has some raisins, banana, yoghurt or orange.

Only lately has he started eating oranges (clemantines) and he has to take the skin off himself lol
jacket potatoes
oldgrape, not meaning to sound bad here but have you checked the sugar free drink, some contain nasty substitutes.

Mind you, saying that ive always given little CRX ribena only to find that it states not for under 3s. Sometimes you just cant win!
My kids are past the toddler stage now, but a favourite lunch for them was a mixture plate. This was just a mixture of whatever we had in the fridge! Maybe a bit of toast, some cold meat, some chunks of cheese, a pile of raisins, some apple or orange and a biscuit or a few crisps for after. They also liked soup with "dunkers" - either toast or sandwich.

Another favourite was toasties.

My kids are now 7 and 6 and eat a huge amount of food, they do however have a healthy diet and are very tall for their age and not overweight in the slightest. They are very active and obviously need the calories.

Toddlers should be always on the go, and need to eat regularly and until they are full. As long as they are eating healthy food, I wouldn't worry about how much they eat as long as they are not overweight.

Re the sugar free juice - I quite agree, i have now decided that sugar is no longer the enemy and that there are worse things in the sugar free varieties. I now give milk. water, watered down fruit juice or squash or high juice with sugar in it rather than sugar free. Rocks organic orange juice is very nice. I just make sure that they brush their teeth after meals.
baby gaga's 19 months, and ive introduced corn on the cob for her. its hilarious as she trys to get her teeth into it.
also lots of fruit., cheese cubes i try not to give her crisps as i feel theres plenty other health snacks out there.
i aim to give her 5 a day. this ranges from fruit juices to fruit and veg. im lucky as shes keen to eat anything, shes just ate her first curry this evening. radio. x
We all have slug gut soup !!!!!

Just to make it a bit more interesting.
Pasta with chopped tinned tomatoes and some grated cheese on top. Water or very diluted squash and some grapes.
