I am not an UK citizen but once I had a credit card and account in a bank(probably I still have it). Everything would be ok but the immigration officer refused me to enter the UK 2 years ago. So I couldn't pay my debts because I use to earn like 150 pounds a month. What do you think happened? Am I blacklisted? Can I open a new bank account, just current account when I come back to UK?

well why not get hold of your credit file from equifax or experian and see what it says. i believe you can add explanatory notes to your file. maybe you could also get a credit card and be super good with it. pay it off regularly etc just for the purpose of repairing your credit score. capital one i believe give a card to anyone because their fines are horrendous so you do really have to be very good with it.
