Where have all the Q's gone ? Or, to rephrase that, where have all the CBers gone ? Has charisma gone ?

I was enthralled today by television, managing to watch huge amounts of it - F1 and then The Passion.

me too max, I think that the AB ed is trying to make us all go cold turkey, I suggest we bash him when service resumes

Ah , goooood eeeveniiiig ! I see it's a fault in AB making us wait ages for a page to load . Impossible to get a convo going isn't it ....lol....

ive spoke to 2 abers this evening who gave up cause its too slow so i cant see much doing tonight.:-( taking about 5 mins to load a page up.

Hi - same here everyone - at least 5 minutes to move from one place to another. Two people in B&S're having the same problem, so with the site running slower than beta - I don't think there's much chance of conversation tonight!! Mind you, if anyone has the patience - have you all had a good Sunday so far??!!

Yep, Ms Maiden, this sunday has been lovely so far, thank you ! I had a lovely lie-in and read a whole chunk of my latest book (one of the Diana Gabaldon's).. after which I got up, put a loaf of bread on to make in the machine, strolled down to my local to watch the first F1 of the year (Melbourne) and was tied to my seat cos young master Hamilton was on a winning streak... then we had some grub (I had cauli cheese & a jacket, plus a few beers lol)... we all piled back to my house and have just been enthralled by The Passion and a whole loaf of bread.... life doesn't get any more perfect than that !

I cooked a joint of topside, with fresh carrots, cauliflower, broccoli & peas, with pots, baked ones and honey roast parsnips. plates were overflowing, but by the time i'd done it all, I lost my appetite!

I think I figured out what has slowed AB almost to a stop today. I have some new American banner adverts on the top of my page, and down the side where the google ads are there is an American times reader ad that is appearing more often than not. I never had a problem before they appeared so maybe they are messing with the site???
