I had a corner suite delivered on friday and to get the large piece in it had to come round next doors alley way over there garden and removal of a fence. Rest came in front ok. When I drew curtains on the night time I noticed a slight tear on the corner which was caused by forcing it through room door which had been taken off plus another door.Suite was still in wrapping and I did look round it but as it was all put together I didnt notice the slight tear. I have the inspecter from the company coming today to see it.Now there is no way I can let it go out as the same thing could happen again .I have already paid 250 extra for fabric guard and accidental damage. My question is if the suite cannot be repaired in my home what are my options as it will never be able to go back out without damage as it had to be forced through my lounge door so will I be able to reclaim part of the 250 as I will say again there is no way it can go out and another could be damaged in the same way .Thanks for any replies

if you have accidental damage insurance then the onus is on them to worry about that sort of thing, not you
