Can you remortgage your house for �15000 or is �25000 the minimum?
Also is it possible to remortgage when you only have on going temporary employment ?

You can remortgage for �15,000 yes.

As to whether you ill be granted a mortgage with only a temporary contract, I doubt it but you won't know unless you ask. Try phoning a few mortgage lenders and asking, each one will probably have different criteria. You shouldn't need to give any details and go through the application process, just ask the question.

You can borrow with only temporary employment - Nationwide are usually a good bet on this. There are quite a few lenders who won't allow you to borrow �15,000 as this then qualifies as a loan under the Consumer Credit Act and follows different regulation to mortgages.

There are still plenty of options out there - Abbey may be another worth a try.
The Minimum amout is �25000
