my gcse levels weren't at A level when i left school, i was mainly getting C's. I am now 18 and for the past 2 years have been playing football full time and i don't think football is for me. i would like to go to college to get my grade's at a higher level in science and maths so i can try and get onto a medical course. whats the best advice you can give me?

1) go back to college, retake your gcse's (which ones did you do) /
2) get grade A's or A+'s
3) next
4) do 3 or more A levels, (chemisty, biology and english) are good for starters
5) Next go to Uni do a degree is something medical( biology).
6) Next move onto a medical course
after all that it will probably take 8-10 years but, would be worth it,

you can be a gp.

70-120K per year ( in todays wages)

ok,

you you will probably have to retake GCSE (at least 1 year)and get a grade B (prefeably) in (biology , Chemisty and english) at least then take another two years doings A Levels in the same subjects
after that apply for a degree course in a university to do either an BSc or BA (a least 3 years) then move into a medical/doctor type course.

then after those 3 years it would take about 5 years to qualify as a doctor?
Soory to be blunt but forget it. I Know of students with excellent highers (Scottish equivalent of A levels) who cannot get into medicine. However, there are many other medical related courses with lower entance qualifications.
when you have yourself a degree your doing well, most good jobs are easily within your reach, but

if you want to be a doctor, i would guess about around at least 5 years ..... more than likely 8 years of heavy study will get you a Doctorate ie @ Dr Bailey10

then the world will really be you oyster and you the pearl
