Can anybody tell me if you are charged when you ring up royal mail for re-delivery?

Royal Mail and their attempted delivery service is shocking! it is such a hassle. i live about 5 miles away from the sorting office. so i know have to walk there in between 7 and 12 and collect it!

You are charged for the phone call yes.

For the actual delivery no.

If you live near a Post Office you can have it redirected there for 50p.

i have tried to ring up royal mail and when i do, i press all the right numbers, then its rings for 52 seconds and cuts off

Have you tried ringing the local sorting office as well as the royal mail main number?
