My daughter recently got married .Does the amount of income tax she pays reduce as you used to be taxed as a single person but I think you pay tax in your own right married or single.Am I right ? Thanks

The amount of income tax remains the same.

Thanks Ethel I thought it did.But a few years ago it was different as you could claim married man'sallowance but that is all stopped now.
