which also contains other useful information. Not many with a debit card as you will see - Coop and Natwest if the list is up to date

Martin Lewis (a Money Expert) was talking about this on R2 Jeremy Vine last week. He said you may have to persist because the banks have to offer a basic account but they don't like doing it. He recommended Barclays (for this specific product). Probably more info on Martin Lewis's website here www.moneysavingexpert.com

I had one like that even though the banks said I didnt need one, but it was a Natwest Step Account and really straight forward, debit card, pay money in and take out only.
