So it seems, Abbey , that you haven't been underpaid after all. Unfortunately there may be no big tax rebate to help boost your finances, so your focus now has to be on finding a full time job or a second part time job, and cutting back on spending including takeaways, nails, bottomless brunches and driving lessons for the forseeable future

Mcdonalds and Kentucky both have jobs going and will probably take your hands off as you are able to work friday and saturday

Just some of the benefits are a decent salary and Holiday pay, Service Awards, Meal allowance, Employee discounts from top highstreet and online brands and much more

I agree. Some places are desperate for experienced staff. Tell them  you could do any 2  days on Thursday to Sunday or maybe 3 evenings a week.

Selling clothes and handbags on vimted could raise a few hundred pounds.

And/ or advertise a paid dog walking service.

//// 1ozzy: I'd reckon invest in sensibility Canary, but that won't happen////

I suspect you really mean sense. To appreciate the difference, I recommend Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility where Elinor represents Sense, and Marianne represents Sensibility.

SENSIBILITY

noun

sen·si·bil·i·ty ˌsen(t)-sə-ˈbi-lə-tē

1ability to receive sensations

2peculiar susceptibility to a pleasurable or painful impression (as from praise or a slight)

3awareness of and responsiveness toward something (such as emotion in another)

4refined or excessive sensitiveness in emotion and taste with especial responsiveness to the pathetic

With the dog walking service, she will need insurance and would be limited to very local unless she has good access to public transport.

TBH I can't see her doing that either - it would ruin the nails and the outfit she was wearing.

Honest answer from me - with all the cognitive problems you have and your supporters on here tell us you have and thus how to respond to you I'm afraid that you will never be able to pass a driving test or be competent to drive.

Drop that idea, lots of people get by in life without driving, it's not the end of the world.

Its not as if there isn't public transport about - you live in Cardiff

you could try asking for advice on the internet - oh wait!

No there isn't enough been I had an email to book a slot of an interview in HB close to me but when I go on there it says still processing so they said ring back tomorrow

Sorry - your response does not make sense - can you rethink it and rewrite it and let us know who you are addressing?

I'm surprised you tried Home Bargains. Didn't you let them down then quit only a few months ago?

Can you give an example please abbey of things you are you struggling to pay for?

Abbey, do you owe money to anyone?...store or credit cards? If so that's what you should be paying...nevermind any extras as mentioned by others on here. Do you have a bank account of any kind...if not...open one! Get into the habit of putting money away. Work out a budget based on what you are earning...maybe your mum can help.

You can't pluck money from thin air...you've got a roof over your head, parents, and food provided. Be bloody grateful you've got that. Many don't...you sometimes sound spoiled in your attitude.

Money management is a very important skill that needs a lot of self control, but not impossible to learn. A simple pen and paper will allow you to list your income and outgoings, leaving you a credit balance or debit. Should it continue to be a weekly/ monthly debit then its obvious that you need to take action and cut backs on out goings. Try it.

Newmordy The reason I did is because it was exhausting work there and care home but this one I would only be doing and it on my doorstep.

Pasta I get but I don't think this would be a nice feeling for anyone it my supervisor from care home fault I'm in this position she told me I was doing well then changed her mind

And yes I have a credit card

So what are you struggling to pay for?

I would cut the credit card up into pieces. Don't get yourself into more debt. Surely if you live with your parents they will provide food etc. until you get your wages on Friday. Do you give them any housekeeping money at all?

Sorry abbey but the first part of your answer didn't make sense...*what* would not be a nice feeling?

Also...the position you are in is not the supervisors fault. She changed her mind because it became apparent to her that you couldn't manage the work to the needed standard.

Abbey, I think you will have to be more honest, especially with yourself! You decided you hated the HB job on the very first day you went there, and I don't think you even stayed long enough for the work to be 'exhausting' (when combined with your 9 hours in the care home). Maybe the care home supervisor did change her mind, but your next job - the cleaning firm - followed the same predictable pattern of you not being an ideal employee.
