Start-ups are more expensive. They start all cost, no customers. Better to buy out an existing concern, with an offer they can't refuse ?

They'd still have to pay the same wholesale price for energy though ...

Lol Canary, that's Woody in a suit relaxing because Pixar studios paid him truck loads.

If they had wanted to do that they could have taken over one of the firms that went bust instead of migrating their customers to other companies.

But being right wing, they didn't have the sense to.
