is there still a problem with ipads on here. i have had to abandon ipad and use laptop as ipad will not complete refreshing after halfway across. It was ok for about 5 minutes and then failed.

It's been mentioned on another thread that the thing which we're not supposed to mention here is now available for iPads and seems to fix the problem.

Google its name, together with 'itunes'.

Reset your iPad: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds)

Thank you, Buenchico. I'd been having the same problem as Caran. I've just installed the 'thing' and it seems to have solved it.

If 'reset' doesn't work, try 'restore':

If this web site is freezing iPad to the point where a hard reset or even worse a restore is required, then this site has some serious defects.
I would recommend that tablet users avoid until fixed.
A tablet restore could result in loss of data.

Agree with Randy - I'm not prepared to lose data. If it plays up again I'll have to leave site till it's fixed

I clicked that link and tried to 'get' Chris.
Told me it was not suitable for iPads!

I did too, says it's not suitable for my iPad.

Really getting fed up with it now as I only use iPad.
If it continues I may have to take a break too.
