help with electric bill

does anyone know if there is such a thing.i have a electric bill of �1400.i was paying �135 a month but just been told it hasnt been covering what i have been using.i have a disabled son age 11 who has alot of medical equipment which uses electricity everyday.the company npower has told me my health authority can pay a percentage but when i ask no_one has heard of this!!anyone can help i would be grateful.

I assume you are getting the correct financial support - disability living allowance and so on.

I have not heard of the HA paying towards utility bills. Try asking CAB if they know of any such scheme.

first i would say do not worry!! the electric company can ask you to pay �2.70 per week off this bill. i know it will take time to pay off, but there arent many other options.
also i do remember reading on an autism forum of companies giving reductions, i do know that powergen do not offer this, i think it may have been british gas, but not definate.
