I'm juts loving the outrage here... http://www.dailymail....sport-NOT-sacked.html

It is alarming that a child (anyone) managed to board a plane having got through a number of security checks but why doesn't the mother acknowledge her failings in this escapade?

Ahh but you see its not her or little johnnys fault that he managed to get on a plain all the failings belong to others bacause when little Johnny does something really bad she can pass that off as well!!
What failings? He gave her the slip at a shopping centre, apparently. He's 11, it's not like she can walk about holding his hand.

I'm not aware of him givng his mother the slip.

Irrespective of that, I do feel that blame should also be apportioned to mother and son.
He and the mother look a smarmy lot - as they said in daily mail - they were hoping for compensation. Asif.
He needs a "bloody good hiding."
Children are rarely challenged or asked for tickets , id etc when travelling as it is most usual for an accompanying adult to do so. I would be so cross with that lad if he were mine.
Yes, at 11 he should know right from wrong.
He does Sqad - street wise and clever boy - looks older than his years!!!
That is certainly a horrible photo of the two of them.

What a lovely looking mother and child................
Ab Editor....you are incorrect.......that is a GOOD photograph of them......that is the problem......
Eccles, in on the link you posted,

"sneaked away from his mother near Manchester Airport"

Sorry, Baldric, I couldn't see the wood for trees.

He was certainly, err resourceful, makes my childhood mischief seem like child's play!
I don't suppose he expected to be able to board a plane though.
Ok so he managed to get through the airport and board a plane. I imagine whilst he was there he was FAR safer than navigating the busy area between the shopping centre where he gave his mother the slip (or was it the swimming baths, Mum doesn't seem all that clear......) and the airport THREE MILES away!

I sincerely hope he is now grounded.
I especially like the photo if the little scamp as a toddler on the beach with his dad as the horse while they play cowboys.

I am not a supporter of wife beating.....but in this case.............

Thanks Barmaid for my best laugh of the week...."He said he had just been looking for a lavatory and kept searching until he ended up on the plane."

Pure dead brilliant.
