And up 2 lb again :-(
Good morning all, we are enjoying normal weather now which is such a relief. I’m gone up one pound. I’ve been experimenting with different foods . I think it’s more due to the portion size so am watching that now.
Good Morning all and that is right xstitcher back to sensible eating pays off I have gone down 1lb . Yesterday my daughter texted would I like a fresh cream cake when she comes down in her break .I know it was wrong but would not have been right to refuse . that's my treat for the week .
Well done to ROWAN you have the right approach keep up the good work .OG better luck for next week .
Was slightly down again today. I appear to lose weight whilst at home, but gain when a guest of another ! Not too sure why.
Welllll OG, slightly down is better than slightly up. I was in town today and had a sticky bun.......I think it must be over 50 years since I’ve had one. It tasted so good that I would have loved to lick the plate.
I had sticky buns the other day, but in fairness it was a hot humid day.
Buns???? Plural?
Why do you want to eat sticky buns when it's hot and humid,
o-g? Sounds like the worst time to eat them, if at all.
eat ?
Whoosh moment ;-)
Oh dear! Silly me!
Today I had cake, first cake in months, just a slice with a friend on long walk, I enjoyed it, won't want more for months. Dinner was a big salad with a couple of slices of cold meat. And green tea. No harm done as rest of day was so good. Gym tomorrow, I will be joining a social walking group next week The more I can get out and about the better
I had a lovely bar of white sugar free white choc the other night, my friend brought it home from Salou, it was so thoughtful of her, I just had to eat it, thankfully, it didn't put my BSL reading up next morning - I don't want to think of my waist but that was m treat for a while. you'll do great with the walking group rowan, it will motivate you to get up and join them, the social part will be good for you too.
Wow Rowan you are one impressive lady. You’ve really grabbed the bull by its horns and there’s no doubt who’s going to win! I’m so glad that you’ve come on here so we can all follow you’re progress. You are definitely a poster girl. :-))
We all need a treat now and then ducksie and I’m glad that you enjoyed your white sugar free chocolate. Enjoy the memory too. I can still taste my sticky bun and will leave it there....as a memory. Maybe one every three months could be an idea hmmmmmmm.
My rule is now a treat when I am out with friends enjoy it and move on, when I see my best friend for lunch next week it will be wine,or a small dessert. That way I can relax and not look holier than thou. Gym this morning lots of older ladies there on prescription exercise, it's at the smile and good morning stage but I'm working on it. A couple of neighbours with health problems are hoping their GP will send them on the same programme and then they will join me.
never posted here before..but ..have lost 18lbs in 3 weeks 3 days..well pleased...bit more to go I think...would like to be on the lighter side for the C word coming up in a few short months !
That's great, rowan, that there is the scheme at the gym. It should be nationwide. Far better to send people out to meet people and get fitter than just put them on pills with a diet sheet.
I'm sure you'll make many friends there as well improve your health.
Blimey, minty! That's a heck of a lot. Well done! What have you been doing?
Looking at your avatar, which I assume is actually you, you don't look like you need to lose weight. (If you don't mind my saying.)
How much did you need to lose only that sounds a bit quick. If you have done it with healthy eating though, brilliant. I used to do figures like that when I was younger, my total is about 24 lbs in two months. This might slow down for a bit now I am going to the gym as muscle weighs more than fat. I am ok with that though as I will find it easier to do more walking once I have rebuilt the support around my joints. I will be adding in a couple of high intensity bursts from next week. Ouch.
