Good Morning All,

Well like the temperatures outside my weight has been up and down lately. I'm sure it has to do with me being "lost."

Hope you are all getting near your goals.

Morning All, Well as expected I went up about 1/4 pound (I work in grams and kilos). It wasn't as much as I expected and deserved but I guess the swimming is paying off.
We go back home on Sat. so all those beach side lunches will be out of reach.
Well done both Jim and Wendilla. I hope you keep it up now . Onwards and downwards....
Hi xstitcher you will get back on track after you get settled back home. It is so difficult to get back on track as you know and I can't undo all the good work of the last year. Safe journey to you .
couldn't get to SW this week but my scales are showng a maintain...really struggling at the moment no too sure why...but really major sweet cravings still well done everyone who managed a loss this week
Well done to everyone who lost this week. I managed a 1¼ lb loss this week, seems to be coming off very slowly, but at least it is in the right direction!

Getting rid of weight slowly is good Jooles. You are less likely to put it on quickly so keep up the good work.
I agree Xstitcher I have proved that. It took me 6 months to lose 2 stone up till xmas but I have not gained apart from 3 lbs at xmas but lost that . These past 12 few weeks I have not lost until 1lb this week.as I hope I have got back on track. Well done on all losses.Onwards ans Downwards.
Morning everyone. A bit of a disaster this week. Put on 1lb. Consultant decided to open a discussion about what I was eating for breakfast dinner and tea, and they all came to conclusion Im not eating enough !! Cant believe it, althought it has been mentioned before. As far as Im concerned, Im eating healthily so should lose weight. I dont crave for chips (even home made ) or snacks in between meals as Im never really hungry. My OH eats the same as me except for a pack up lunch, and hes never hungry.
Ive lost nearly 2 and half stone so far so I must be doing it right, so why cannot I not get any further at the moment ?
Hi TheOtherHalf I know how you feel .It is right if you don't eat enough of the right food you will not lose weight .But as you say you know you are. I know that I have been eating right enough and for weeks I never lost or gained This is the first week I have lost 1lb for a few weeks .Like you I lost 2 stone last year and want the other 2 off this year before Oct. then I should be ok. Like me don't give up you will get there. Onwards and Downwards.

Hi The Other Half, I have heard that sometimes we can have a lot of water retention which could account for it, but I am by no means an expert but maybe you have heard of this. This week I haven't been hungry between meals either but that could be because there is so much to do and think of with the trip back home. What ever reason it is a lovely feeling not to be thinking of food so much.
You have done so well so don't worry you are on the right path.
thanks wendilla and xsticher for your support. Dont worry. I WONT be giving up now
Hi, not checked in for a while and after a couple of weeks of being 'not so good' ....two weekends of barbies and drinking I thought I would have nothing to report anyway. But just got back from swimming and the scales were finally fixed [no it wasn't me that broke them!] I have lost 4lbs in three weeks! Really pleased with that and I can finally say I am 14 stone ....something! WOO HOO!
Well done to everyone else and to whoever it was who said they feel self conscious of swimming...Just go for it....no one looks at you and it's the best fun!

wendilla left a message for you on chatterbank.

Good for you slinkey.kate. We'll be waiting to hear how it goes for you and rooting for you. You should be very proud of yourself. I know how hard it is for you.
I don't think I've had a very good week this week - having said that I went and bought some linen trousers size 14 from M&S and had to take them back to change them for a size 12. That said the had come up rather big but it is a nice feeling though.
Jimjools I have a confession to make .I always thought by your name that you were male .I was just about to say that size 12 for a man why did you want to lose any more so I looked your profile and woe and behold guess what. Very well done .I find that if I buy a good make of skirt or dress I can get away with a size 14.but anything that is clingy I need 16 .
