i am quite happy to accept anyones opinion of me, bad or good. The reason i do this is to see people opinions of my looks without any bias caused by being friends.
I would also accept his opinion of me, but he portrayed it in a rude and unnessacary way, if he had said," im sorry, but you are quite ugly", i would have been fine.

Another reason is that this is the last place i can turn, none of my friends care anyway, and i get teased so i dont speak much to them. I am looking for polite people that can give me an honest answer without -->deliberately<-- hurting my feelings.

there aren't many folk who are drop dead gorgeous, but the majority are really quite alright. it's horses for courses, and all that.
