Morning Octavious, glad I am of some use then.

Bad quiz last night . mostly on damn sport.
I wouldn't do anything. You would only get found out, and it would show that he is still in control, as you were thinking about him enough to do something. I also believe in Karma.

Loved the story bit at the end of nutgoneflakes post about the woman smacking the bloke in the face :)
My wifes son from previous marriage had a motor cycle stolen years ago.
It was found nearby with a gang of lads riding it, the police were no good at all.

Weeks later the lad who stole it was killed on it in an accident.

If this is Karma he would have better off with a belt in the gob.
What the heck is this karma thing, some type of curry, doesn't sound like an English word.
I see, Hinduism.
How can you even think of taking revenge on a man who's doing exactly what you were doing to your present partner?
Besides, revenge would mean you are no different from some bitter pathetic old losers out there ... just take your time and get over it, in time you'll see you made the right decision.
my thoughts exactly Boo. Sosad does seem to be avoiding the issue of her partner / husband.
My best revenge was on an ex-boyfriend who dumped me. The act of dumping me alone was unthinkable!! I mean, we're talking about ME here!!

So I cooked him in a nice stew.

He was quite a big guy so it required a lot of tupperware and the stew took up the best part of my freezer for months!! He tasted especially nice with saurkraut...
I am a great believer in Karma & have seen the results of it, without having to do anything at all. ;o}

It may be easy to jump in to get your revenge - letting people's tyres down, pouring brake fluid over car paint, or punching the lights out of someone, etc., but that could lead you or others into lots of trouble.

Besides, you never know where CCTV cameras are lurking these days - so beware!
Some things are best left to Karma, but there are times when revenge is the only option, like the guy where I used to live who used to let his dog sh!t outside my front gate, he got it back through his letterbox

I used to go for revenge, but now I am very calm, I have done so many wrong things in my life, real bad things, but now I let things pass, all I did before was to get into trouble because I not only wanted revenge but I wanted them to know it was me that did the things that happened, the only time I would hurt anybody now is if they hurt my family, i am so protective of them, but if it is about your ex sosad, forget it, he will fall in love and the one he loves will treat him bad, what Octavius said is so very true.
Karma

I always think of the Culture Club (Boy George etcetera) song 'Karma Chameleon', a song written as were most of their songs - except the one that went "War, war is stupid" which was about war (and people) being stupid - about Culture Club's drummer with whom 'Boy G' was having a secret affair.

Once you know that, the lyric "Karma Chameleon, you come and go" takes on a whole new meaning.
Karma always makes me think of that rather amusing US comedy series, "My Name Is Earl."

But otherwise I couldn't agree more Octavius, my good man.

I'm hungry. Anybody fancy my home-made stew?
>>>back again!

Just read your post Ray - I have to agree & say - if I ever actually saw anyone hurting any members of my family, or a defensless person, then I'm afraid I wouldn't hesitate to try to stop them. If it meant pummeling them to the ground - then so be it! Although I'm a very nice lady by nature! ;o}

That is the only time though....
*defenseless
I am never going to upset you smudge, lol , I feel like you I hate to see that sort of thing, I would also do the same if I saw somebody defenceless being attacked
Yes, it's nice being a kind helpful person - just like you sound Ray - despite whatever you got up to years ago. It's now that matters!

I'm a real softie - if I see an old lady or man struggling to walk across the road, or on a pedestrian crossing, I feel like getting out my car to help them.

We've all got to get their one day & how anyone can beat up OAP's, I'll never know!
