Why does my ex always text me when he is drunk but never when he is sober? We have been apart for 2 years - have had the odd moment together since but have never got back together. Or is this just a typical man thing? ha ha

Does he contact you mainly to try and instigate sex? If so I expect it's only when he's drunk because he's hornier when he's drunk.

Well he does usually get a little more hornier - sometimes it pure filth! Sometimes its ok. Comes away with all this stuff - then next day - as usual - says he didnt mean it all and how sorry he is !

Hmmm, yeah i agree. its a man thing.
He probably thinks he can still get sex off you as he has been with you before.
He will be drunk and seeing all those beautiful ladies around, knowing he cant get one.
If you reply with the same behaviour though, then no wonder he does it...

Hi. When I was swapped for a newer model I went through hell for three years. I was determined not to call her but sitting alone night after night I used to get very maudlin after dinner with wine. THATS when I weakened and would phone her. But I'm cured now! But yep I guess it's a man thing! :-)

No, its not a man thing. I have texted the ex after a few glasses of wine. On impulse. Thats what wine does to you! And it wasn't for sex chat, it was because I was lonely, p*ssed and missing him. I wouldn't do it again mind.

I have TWO ex boyfriends texting me, I've just keep my phone on silent now,
Current boyfriend is understandably quite ****** off,
the first one broke up with me 3 years ago and still texts and rings about once a month to tell me that he still loves me and that he misses me.(i pity his current fiance)
i broke up with the other one last year and he just recently started texting,
i have text them both and asked them to leave it but it would seem that they listen to me as much now as they did when we were going out!!!
