Bbc Quiz : Week 4

Good evening all! It’s Friday again!

 

I could only manage a pathetic score of TWO out of seven on the main quiz this week:

There appears to be an error on the junior quiz this week, in that the penguin question requires you to click on an answer and then click ‘Choose’ (which isn’t the usual way of doing things) and subsequently tells you that you’ve got the answer wrong (even when you’ve got it right). So please go by the answer provided (rather than by ‘Correct’ or ‘Wrong’) when totalling up your score.

 

Having explained that, I can now declare myself to be a perfect kid this week, with a maximum FIVE out of five!

Feeling very tired this week as not been getting much sleep with all the storms, winds and rain just lately. So think an early night is on the cards. Hope its not been too bad where you are.

Having said that it was a lovely sunny day today and enjoyed a lovely day with family out around a few quaint village shops and then tea n cakes.

You're out in the lead at the moment!

The windy weather kept me awake much of last night too.  Then I had to send quite a bit of today trying to untaggle the antenna wire for my transceiver from the branches that it had wound itself around during the night!

I'm glad you enjoyed your day out.  You should visit this area, where we've got loads of lovely villages (with many of them having very expensive gifts shops and cafés to spend your money in!).

The Bonkers Bunch and I hope that you'll have lovely week ahead.

Well done on doubling my score on the main quiz, Canary42, but I think that you probably need to spend more time with your Lego and your roller skates if you're to do better in the junior quiz 😄

The Junior one went beserk, sent me back to the start, so I was able to correct the one I got wrong and end up with full marks - I like it :-)

Doing this on a Friday evening is a lot cheaper than going down the pub 😄

Hi Buen -hope you read my last post about TV by the way & many thanks for your efforts - well, I was astounded to get 5/5 on the kid's quiz.  I'd only read about the alligators this afternoon which helped.  :)   A 3/7 on the adults was, once again, lucky.... too much about films and pop music for me.  As we say 'Guesses all acount!'  All in all not bad.

Wish winter  would go.  We had 16 hrs. without electricity this week = heating, hot water, hot food.  :(
