Right, this isnt a question I can ask down the pub, so will put it to you good people!
Is it ok for the modern man to slap a bit of fake tan on? I was bought mens "Fake Bake" for xmas but I havent used it yet. I already have a medium dark complextion but some days you do feel a bit pale and grey. I have a night out end of the month, do I give it a go?

I can't see anything wrong with it. I know men that use sunbeds.

I have had the odd sunbed, usually after a holiday to keep the tan for a few extra weeks, but this feels like a big step. I am quite a lads lad when I am with my mates and dont want it to be dead obvious, I would be ridiculed! It is better for you than the sun or sunbeds though.

" I already have a medium dark complextion "

Why then do you think you need it?

"some days you do feel a bit pale and grey"

How do you FEEL pale and grey? I always thought one might look pale and hairs turn grey...
Jd_1984 as has been said already there is nothing wrong with men taking a little more time in the bathroom to clean and groom themselves and most modern men do in this day and age. Look up Metrosexual.
A bit of sun is good for you....

My cousin uses sunbeds and he's a boxer...(not the dog)
go for it jd, modern, man and all that
LOL thank gawd you made the distinction, Ummmy.
loads of lads I know use sunbeds and fake tan and straighteners and all that, even some up our rugby club, they get the p1ss taken out of them but only bits, it's not unusual nowadays really, just go easy to save looking too spiceboy!
It's not my style at all but if you think you look better with it then go for it.
Test it out first, jd - a little bit looks good, you need to check the effect, so you don't go orange. You don't want to look like David Dickinson! http://www.google.co....dy-Cg&ved=0CEcQ9QEwCA
eughhhh boxy, he makes my flesh crawl, DD
BE CARFUL OF YOUR SHEETS ETC !!!
tbh, I would not recommend using a sunbed, stick with the fake-bake, much more sensible

Ok re-phrase, LOOK a bit pale.
What I meant is I am not really white and not dark skinned, got italian genes about three generations ago.
But evryone wants to look healthy, just dont know if its too vain?

Fake tan?

Are you a woman?

The word 'fake' says it all really doesn't it?

I've seen plenty of women who don't apply it right and they end up with a very unattractive fake tan line around their neck where orange.....oops, sorry I mean brown changes to natural skin colour
I would suggest mixing it with a bit of moisturiser, just in case you get that I-rolled-in-Doritos look.
