Strange cant lift kettle.. Or iron?? Had it before numbness said doc checked her over & her neck and said there was nothing wrong!!! But its worse... I think thats quite worrying!!?? X

I think you need to get her back to Dr and maybe ask to to referred to a specialist if Dr cant suggest anything more positive.
One arm or both arms? Numbness and weakness? Any neck pain?
How old is she? Is she taking any tablets?
Dr checked her? X.Rays or just clinical examination?
Frozen shoulder is quite common in older women - could it be that?

Also, I had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome last year - used to get pins and needles in my hand and it would go weak and numb, sometimes for several minutes at a time. It righted itself in the end but I don't think it's always the case.

Shes 44. No meds, numbness & weakness and just an examination! Started in one arm but now both one sorer than other... I remember seeing somewhere that a lady had symptoms and it wad early stages of a disease.! Not jumping to conclusions i just remember that! Saxy could b that? And i agree more investigation is needed!! X

She needs to change her doctor - what a twerp saying there's nothing wrong - and he gets paid big money for such piffle - makes you sick (pun unintended).
Canary....we only presume that he said nothing was wrong.....he probably said "I cannot find anything wrong which is quite different. When one passes words from person to person, by the time it reaches the fifth or sixth person it is quite often unrecognisable from the original remark.No amount of money may compensate for dealing with some of the British public.

just saw ur answers thanks!! shes still not been to doc i am not happy and shes flying on tue and is now panicing!! i did tell her!!- not happy lol x
