I would like to buy some of these wristbands that are raising money for charity, but cant seem to find a UK website that looks genuine enough to give all the proceeds to charity.  Any ideas?   Thanks

Presumably you are referring to the Live STRONG yellow bands (the Lance Armstrong Foundation) for cancer awareness?

Unfortunately the only place you can gete these is direct from the Livestrong.org website (click on the wear yellow box) which is in the US.  You will need to buy a minimum of 10 and pay for post & packaging.  I understand that the waiting list is 2-3 months though.  You can then sell spare ones to friends and family for non-profit.

you can get the yellow bands from a nike store in london if you are british.
You can get a white 'Make Poverty History' band from any Christian Aid or Oxfam store for just 1. If you want to do more than wear the fashion accessory check out website makepovertyhistory.org... also many of the different coloured LIVESTRONG bands are available on eBay
Ayrshire Cancer Support is about to launch 'Yellow Wristbands' to raise funds - details at www.ayrshirecancersupport.org
