Morning all. Yesterday the in laws came to visit, bearing gifts from their holiday. Mr O & all the junior O's received expensive watches. My mother in law handed me a box of branded washing powder, saying she'd noticed I use a supermarket own brand and she didn't think it was good enough.
What an insult!

Question Author
We all already had watches!
Hasn't she always been like this with you?
Shouldn't this post be under FAMILY?......:-)
Question Author
Yes. She spent around 100 each on the rest of my family at Xmas - and gave me a 99p pack of face flannels with the price still on.
It used to hurt - now it is just bloody annoying and insulting.
What?? That is insulting and so very obvious that it is a dig at you! They should be embaressed with themselves!
Question Author
Hi sqad - I didn't realise you'd promoted yourself to moderater? ;)
Do you buy their Christmas presents? If so say to your husband he can buy theirs from now on! Failing that put everything they have ever done into writing and try to get it published! I reckon you could be on to a good seller there! :o)
Question Author
I swear I'm going to make one of those voodoo dolls of her!
Question Author
lol wingnut.

I washed my hands of buying her anything a long time ago - her presents are Mr O's department.
Hi Olive....p1ssed off....last rain here was May 29th, could do with a bit of your sea-fret.
"I washed my hands "

Now you've summet to wash them with Mrs O ;-)
Olive......shouldn't Mr.O have had a word with his mother a long time ago..............b0llock HIM.
Oh my mrs_overall , that's terrible , what a bitch !
Where is your husband in all this? After all they are his parents so why isn't he sticking up for you and giving them 'what for' along the lines of 'either you treat us all alike or don't bother buying presents for any of us'.
Incidentally, if you still have the flannels unused, I would wrap them up and give them back to her this Christmas.
Question Author
The flannels were used to clean out the loo!

Mr O is an only child and wont hear a word said against mummy.
Divorce him.
Question Author
...and run off with you sqad????? lol
Olive....now you are are talking my language......you would never regret it.....LOL
