My sister has been diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. She has been undergoing treatment for two years.
Two days ago, she had an injection to stimulate egg production
Tonight, she took a pregnancy test that shows positive.
Does anyone know if this injection could be creating a false positive?

Are we talking about Polycystic Ovaries (PCO) or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) ?

I will hazard a guess and say that you are talking about PCO and the answer would be that NO, the injection and treatment would NOT affect the pregnancy test, so it looks as though your sister is pregnant.
