You should probably go back to your GP and have an examination. Possibly you had some internal abrasions or tearing, which haven't healed properly, due to the inner area being moist.
i would go back to your GP who may refer you, it shouldnt be uncomfortable after all this time. good luck xxx
Sorry to be a little pessimistic, but this is no unusal following forceps delivery. As mentioned by the above posters it may well be due to residual fibrous tissue in the vaginal wall following instrument trauma.

4 months on, is only a very short time and it may well improve over the ensuing months, but I have to warn you that very little can be done medically or surgically to resolve the problem

Make sure that your husband is well lubricated before intercourse.

Time will be the judge in the long run.
I had a forcep delivery last june and its still uncomfortable sometimes. I was refered to a gynaecologist who said there was a skin tag where the tear and/or episiotomy had been, she removed one but I think there are more. It was fairly painless to remove, she used what looked like a cotton bud (the stick ones) with silver oxide on it - (i think thats what she said it was anyway) it just stung a little and did improve the situation.

Hope you get it sorted, and that you and the baby are doing well!
