I think I agree with Jan1957. I have a fairly dry sense of humour, but I find myself not bothering to watch Clarkson et al. They are amusing, but the smug Oh Look At Me Goodness I Am So Funny gets on my tits.

I would never go on it, I'd be absolutely humiliated! I like my cooking, but Lawson I will never be. I know my limitations. However I like watching other people cook and I generally like 'helping' too so come dine with me lets me do this without the annoying looks or the 'you just stir the bowl until I tell you to stop' comments.

Grand Designs is the one I couldn't think of. I love that too. My old house mate and I used to watch that every night and discuss it for quite a long time afterwards. And don't even get me started on Walking with Dinosaurs... (Yes, I am that dull).
