Mine was probably going to someones house because I fancied him and putting my number through the door. We were together for 4 years.

Has anyone quit there job on an impulse even if they had bills to pay and waht happened? Why did you quit and did you regret it?

most impulsive thing i do is getting up out of bed .
When I was 18, I went on holiday with my mother (who's quite placid) and her twin sister (who's as mad as a bucket of frogs) to Torremolinos. I ended up having a huge row with my aunt, and when my mother took her side (which she invariably does) I packed my bags, went to the airport, changed my ticket and got on the only flight that was available with the same airline. In a nutshell, I ended up in Manchester late at night and had to hitch all the way home (a good 4-hour drive). And I was only half way thru my hol!!!

lol sleepy, I should add that to my list too

NoMercy - that was brave of you - I wouldn't even know how to get back to the airport lol, I bet you regret missing out on the rest of your hol though
I went to the Kings Road once and saw a pair of long leather boots, with six inch heels. They were about 300 and I bought them, even though I couldn't stand up in them, let aone walk.

I managed to painfully wear them once, before I had to take them to one of those clothing exchange places, where I sold them for about 40.
If it was a choice between spending another week with my vile aunt or encountering a psycho on the motorway, I'd always opt for the latter!!!

Oh no velvetee :(

Your aunty must be pretty annoying then NoMercy

Lol!
I don't often come on during the day, but I can see this is going to be a fun thread!
My biggest impulsive move was in meeting my husband 2 month's before my 18th birthday and then accepting his proposal on the day. Three months after that, we were married, and we're still fine after almost 12 years. : )
Got married - oh god I read the post wrong it's impulsive not repulsive!!
Mine is the same as Ice's. Agreeing to marry my husband 3 weeks after meeting him andm marrying him 4 months later. We have been married 24 years in July and I don't know what I'd do without him.
Yes, Angel, she is an absolute horror! She treats her husband like a piece of **** and he just rolls over and takes it (admittedly he is the stupidest man in all creation - I could tell you a few stories that would make you cry)
Question Author
Yes impulsive craft so no trying to change it into a repulsive thread :-)

Ok I think you win so far Ice. Who would have thought that a marriage would last 12 years after accepting a proposal after just 2 months of meeting someone. It was obviously meant to be.

Glad I don't have an aunty like that NoMercy.

Jan - another amazing story. It's really weird how it can work out so well - did you just know he was the one or something?
I did Angel. I told my friend after our first date that I was going to marry him. He did do the asking though.

Ahhh thats lovely Jan
That's so romantic Jan and Ice..I'm so jealous! =-)
I once was going through a bad patch with my ex, and a guy i knew through work asked me if i wanted to stay with him (nothing implied!), so when my ex went on hols with his dad i packed my bags and moved halfway across the country,

Came back a month and a half later tho - really regretted it!
I think the most impulsive thing was to come home from a particularly hard commute in London on the Monday, decide that I had had enough, did a search of the internet for similar positions and sent off an application that night. By the Saturday of that week I had an offer, I had handed in my notice and was off to start a new life in Norfolk. In the event, I actually ended up in Suffolk. But it's a whole lot better than London!
Question Author
What did your ex say about it at the time?

Don't blame you - if I had an offer of a job I'd be out of here like a shot.
