Hi Debs. No, haven't thought about it seriously, but played it for free a few times. Got to the million 3 times, but in reality, the questions'd probably be more difficult if you actually got there. : (

I was on Millionaire, 3rd series I think it was. I got as far as 64,000, but then chickened out. I'd used all my landlines and the question was "what is the capital of Peru?"

Well these were the options:

1) London
2) Quito
3) Glasgow
4) Buenos Aires

Would you have risked 64,000 on 3) ?

Question Author
Surely you jest Gormless !

Yeah, know what you're sayin' NoKnow, any question on the soaps would floor me !!
I never jest on here, which is why I walked away with 64,000
Question Author
Everyone knows it's Edinburgh, not Glasgow !!
In the post-mortem I argued that the answers were wrong, but the producers oiled their way ouf of it by saying that the answers were perfect but that the question was slightly misworded and that Chile should have read Scotland. I then said that there was no option for Edinburgh to which they said that Glasgow was bigger.

Hope the answer to the capital of Peru wasn't amongst those you've put there, gormless - as it's Lima.
