Would have been nice to have some time off!!!
me also why does everyone think the world shuts down over xmas and new year it doesnt!!!!
I only work part-time,dot...but I worked over the holiday period..including Boxing day,New Years Eve and New Years Day.......no rest here-lol

I KNOW what you mean!!! But obviously there are some vocations that just don;t warrant dedication and attention , some job descriptions must read ,'In your own time son'
When you are one of the seeemingly few who do work over the hols...it seems like everyone else is sleeping late...

I went back today. Two urgent cases, three clinics needing re-organising, theatre lists going to pot because of the bed crisis and a call from the police... I think I need to take a day off.

Yes,I am called a "Service User" but I have had too many years being a "Patient" to put up with that euphemism!
