why doesn't my life go to plan.....or am I having a mid life crisis? I have dreams that I have been trying to succeed with for the past couple of years, emigrating and making something of my life. When there's light at the end of the tunnel, it seems to suddenly go out. My relationship, has become stale and I really want to know why it seems everyone is getting what I want to achieve.........can anyone help. Am I having a mid life crisis? Had a pretty rough year in itself, and the past three years seem to live the lifes rollercoaster, so when is it time to get off???

as the great late John Lennon said (in song) "Life is what happens when ur busy making plans for doing other things...." keep a diary and see if u can spot what ur doing wrong....from experience 3 years on from emigrating is just the start...u have to take the next step. After 3 years people are still getting to know u, be the best at something in ur new area...people will come to seek ur skill...then build on it and move up....dont forget to give! Good Luck
its never time to get off mate. life is what we make of it. just never accept second best of yourself or for yourself.
Bluedolphin is right. You need to sit down and take stock of what is going on with your life and what you want to happen. Write down what you have and what you want to achieve. If your relationship is stale, ask yourself why? Look into possibilities of changing jobs, areas. It will be difficult, but if you are unhappy, you must do something to sort it out. We only have one life. It may well be mid-life crisis. I went totally off the rails a couple of years ago. I wanted to be eighteen again. Very very luckily my husband understood me, we sat down talked it through and worked it out.
Yeah but John Lennon also said, "I am the eggman, we are the eggmen, I am the walrus, goo-goo ga-choo."

(Thanks Tim).
