Hi All

Has anyone used ths? If so, may I ask:-

Does it work?

Is it absorbed easily or does it take a lot of rubbing in?

Reason for second question is that I have quite a lot of scar tissue and it can be painful to rub stuff in.

Thanks

In my opinion, Bio Oil is ok and works reasonably well on uneven skin tone and minor marks and scars, but it does take months to see any improvement, which is costly. There probably wouldn't be much improvement on serious scar tissue.

It does absorb relatively well, but I think the massaging is quite important too, to break down the scar tissue, but obviously, if it's painful then it could be a problem.
i wouldnt bother if your scar tissue is painful as i found it very greasy and it needed lots of rubbing and massaging to soak into the skin and the excess needed wiping off with a towel.i have used it and it made my skin softer but the difference in stretch marks was minimal even after 8 weeks use.maybe ask your gp for something more suitable
Hiya, i used bio oil on my stretch marks which were fairly new at the time and i found it didn't make any difference so i would doubt it would on scars, i found it wasn't too greasy took a little rubbing in but not too bad.
I used bio oil on my post operation scars and I had a bad allergic reaction to it. I also know of someone else who has had an allergic reaction to it. Aloe Vera (the whole unadulterated stuff) is as good as anything but nothing will get rid of heavy scarring.
