Hi Only, I am very prone to stretch marks and when I was younger got them through weight loss or gain.

I've been usuing Bio Oil for about 4 years and moreso now I'm pregnant. I gently massage into my bump, flanks and thighs1-2 times per day. My bump is very big for 25 weeks and I can honestly say, so far, I haven't gained a single new stretch mark.

I also had scar revision surgery on a scar on my leg about 4 years ago and have used Bio Oil there too and the refined scar is now hardly noticeable.

I would say try to limit your stretch marks as they always look much worse after pregnancy, but Bio Oil is pretty good.

really? god i wish i had got some before now!! its really strange i must have stretchy skin as with my first i got none, this bump isnt that big at all to be honest but i have have loads, like i say i aint that bothered, but might give it a try anyway! thanks xxx
my stretch marks are looking a little better (paler anyway) since giving birth 8 1/2 months ago. I was mildly allergic to bio oil - it made me really itchy!

My mum who's stretch marks are 21years old, are now so pale they're hardly visible. They will fade on their own........eventually!
I really hope I don't get them. I have darker skin and have seen them on other darker women, they look so horrible once they get old and turn white. I'm hoping the Biol Oil will also help me retain skin elasticity, so I'll get my abs back.
too late to use for my stretchmarks - considering they were sustained 24 years ago... however I have tried bio oil on fairly bad burns/scalds - brilliant. I got no scarring at all, and I must add I didn't use it straight after the burns were sustained; it was a week or so afterwards.
Yes, love the stuff. It has preventative as well as remedial properties. I used it on my face as I have often gone overboard with the Glycolic Peel. However, you are apparently meant to use it constantly for 3 months before you can truly see the benefits!.

wow! im amazed, in my younger days i used to try all kinds of things, not for stretch marks, just miricle remedes for celulite, or things that made your hair glossy etc etc and nothing ever worked, but when i saw the advert for it i thought i might try but its 9 a bottle, which isnt a lot but still if it doesnt work id rather spend the money on something else! sounds like its a winner, i might give it a go and see what happens,

like velvetee my skin is naturally quite dark/olivey so when i go abroad i can imagine they will show really badly! lol
It's more cost effective to buy the biggest size which is 20.

I did see this site though, where it is considerably cheaper than elsewhere.
