Bizarre questions but is there anything that makes people more prone to getting lumps and such in the body.

Over the years I've had a tumor removed from a finger, lump removed from near my cervix (not sure what it was), breast lumps (diagnosed as fibrous adenomas) and have just had a polyp removed from by bowel.

Are certain people more prone to getting lumps?

Ah, also suffer from recrurrent groin abcesses and have polycystic ovaries...am wondering if there's a connection.
Anything you haven't suffered with Jenna?
Not nice, Little15.
It was a fair question bathsheba, everytime I log on here I see Jenna discussing her various ailments, I thought perhaps it would be easier for her to list the things she hasn't had.
Ok- well here's something she doesn't suffer with -...bad manners.
I can't imagine what you've been through. Surely your doctor can give you some explanation for all this? I would demand one! Your heart must be in your mouth every time you find something new. I had a lump in an armpit once, but it turned out to be a blocked gland. All the same, it was frightening.
hi Jenna, it depends what you mean by lumps. did your gp not diagnosied what condition you have?
i dont think you have what i have but
from age of five, i was diagnose with a condition called Neurofirbromatosis. i was a normal healthy baby until things started to change as i got older, i have lumps and bumps grow all over my body (but not visable), the main side is on my arm -which is slightly disfigured and the lumps is more visible, the whole arm is full of lumps and bumps, most cannot be removed because they r grown on the nerves so it canbe quite serious. ive had many surgeries to remove the awkard ones. im always hiding my arm by wearing long sleeves clothes all the time it does get to me though, cos i cant really have a normal live. i wont talk much about my condition because ive already talked about few months ago and it really upsets me weni do talk about it.

jenna, get it checkd out why you r growing these akward lumps! maybe ask your gp to referr you to a specialist, at least you know why you are prone to lumps. x
