Can anyone recommend a female deodorant that's really strong because whatever I use I always get really embarrassing unsightly sweat patches.?

try 'mitchum' green can, it's not too bad. If not then 'sanex' works well too!
Nivea compact is good, and its tiny so you can take it with you but still lasts a long time.
Nivea Intensive Care.
Just be careful what you ask for - I think you really need an anti-perspirant. Deoderant is to prevent odour, not perspiration.
I went to the doctor about this embarrassing problem and started using "Drychlor", it can be bought over the counter in Boots. However, make sure you follow the instructions EXACTLY as it is very strong and overdoing it can lead to irritation. I used it for a while (2 months) and it did work. However, I felt using something which was full of chemicals for a long period of time may not be healthy. So now I am using Sanex and wearing natural fibres (cotton) and have noticed an massive improvement. Cutting down or out strong spicy foods, coffee and alcohol. Using Drychlor helps of course, but its probably best to tackle the problem with other measure also.
Mitchum is very good, as are the solid deodarent bars available from Lush.
