I've always folded the quilt and put it between my knees. I think it's a comfort thing for some, not an age thing.
I gave up worrying about my age when I was 46. I wanted to go swimming but the only public session at the pool was for over-50s. I decided that they wouldn't ask for proof of age, so I should be able to get in OK. So I walked up to the desk and said "One for the over-50s swimming please". The response was "Certainly sir. Do you qualify for our over-60s discount?" Ouch! ;-)

I must still be young cos I don't sleep with a pillow between my legs(who would??? ), and I don't dress like my mum ;-)
Cmitchell, I bet you never wake up with backache, do you?

Many people will find they are uncomfortable at night and stiff first thing in the morning. If the problem is low back pain, putting a pillow between your knees when lying on your side can help. Make sure the pillow supports all the way down to your ankles. If you sleep lying on your back try a pillow under your knees or keep them bent up to avoid strain into the low back.

Recommended by most Osteopaths.

It works too. :-P
LOL Chris!!!!!! i thought you were younger as well!!

Well I used to sleep with a pillow against me when I was pregnant, but only because it cushioned the huge bump and made me more comfortable.
I'm getting very old now though, but I'm not dressing like my mother yet. God forbid! She's very smart, but it's all...you know...tweedy stuff and scarves that match her skirts! Bless.

You always keep complaining about how young kids don't have manners any more..you really DO think policemen are getting younger, but, the most horrible,is when you fancy the good looking guy on the tv,and realise you're old enough to be his mother !!
How old is your mum,Icey...I refuse to give up my jeans-lol......munkee-if you sleep with a pillow-what happens to it when you turn from side to side????
Don't ask me, I'm a gastro-enterologist. lol

With lower back pain :-))
lol ice your not old. If you are then i'm ancient.

I always used to say i couldn't sleep until i had something heavy on top of me and something warm between my legs.

lol i know what you're thinking but i mean.....a heavy quilt and a hot water bottle lol
