Yes, it probably would get very boring. The only thing you can have is apples and water. Nothing else. I would think that even a big lover of apples would get a bit bored.
Anorexia is a illness, so if you just ate apples, it would not mean you were anorexic, that depends on your mental state.
Although I would think a lot of anorexics have tried this diet.
I had a GB and STILL have to liquidise food. - Any type of food that is - and even THAT IS BORING (and was after a couple of days - let alone a week and the same taste!)

Who the heck would WANT to eat apples for a week ! You would probably get so bored that you wouldnt want to eat them and if there was no other choice then you would not eat at all.

THEN you would put back on the weight you had lost when you started eating properly again.

It is a mad world because in some countries, millions of people go to bed hungry every night and many cant get enough food to keep themselves alive yet in other parts of the world, our food supply is so excessive that manufacturers use vast qualntities of the worlds energy resources producing foods with few kilojoules. Their ultimate goal being to sell highly profitable puffed up products made of artificial ingredients so tthat people can eat as much as they like without gaining an ounce. The irony is that the more of these products sold, the fatter the population becomes.

I am not saying this about apples, but just that if you eat healthy, non manufactured foods, i.e. foods made from scratch, you will be following a healthy diet not based on fads of the moment.

Any kind of diet (weight Watches & Slimming world included) is not the best way to lose ACTUAL fat. Diets cut your calories and although yeah great they may lose you a few pound a week some of this is muscle which is something you dont really want to be losing as the less muscle you have on your body the slower your metabolism will be. I have tried diets and they work for a period but then you get bored or got back to eating as you once did and put back on alot of the weight.
If someone wants to lose weight perminantly and keep it off it requires a change in the way you live your life. The best thing to do is to eat 6 healthy meals a day (3 at the normal time say 8am, 12pm & 5pm, then 3 more snack type meals ie - fruit and some nuts at 10am, 2.30pm & 8pm) & do plenty of exercise. The thing to remember is the more you exercise the more you can eat - and DO NOT pay attention to how many calories you burn when out running for instance as the machine may say you have burnt 300cals but due to exercises raising you metabalism for 48Hours the total cals would be more like 800. So you can see why you would need more calories.

Sorry that was a bit of a rant but diets are just bad news!!
