Sony Ericsson w580i problem with pictures

My daughter is having trouble putting pictures from her phone onto the computer. It's worked perfectly well up till now. Any idea what's going wrong ?

are u using the Sony software that came with the phone? i had probs with that, and also with the cabele connecting phone to PC

i now use the memory card in a USB card reader and its hassle free

Yes, we are using the software. As I say, it's been ok till now. I wonder if the cable is faulty.
May have to try a card reader......thanks weeal

Hi Jillius, I had that problem a couple of times with my last LG phone.

Sometimes it worked to change the configuration: i.e. try a different USB port for the cable and alter the settings on the software to recognise that.

Just had a prattle about with it again and clicked onto my computer, then clicked onto portable device and hey presto ! all the pictures came up so I just right clicked them and saved them ! Result !
