me sky won;t work again and i have tried the thing you said last time!!! still says no signal being received but the one upstairs on the skyplus is ok!!!!!!!!!!! Help!!

Hiya Dot...I called up my mate and he said have you tried taking out the sky card, wiping it and putting it back in? He seemed to think it may be a signal issue generally but the card thingy may help?

nothing works: ( tried all the suggestions and it still won;t play! there is no music on the tv guide page and when i select 1 all channels it goes to no signal being recieved

dot, my guess would be its just due to the weather like has been suggested. Its typical of sky to play up when the weather is bad.

Hiya,
It sounds like its a problem with the connection from the wall to you sky box, as there is another connection that powers the box upstairs thats why that is ok.

i would suggest giving sky a ring or whoever installed you box, they'll confirm this, in the meantime it might be worth checking the connections are all in and haven't been knocked.

Hi dot, we had this problem last summer except ours was when the weather was hot. Also am on a communal(??) system. Anyway after trying various different things, most mentioned above, we ended up having to have a new dish fitted. Neither sky or the satelitte fitters could explain why tho.

Phew!!!!!!!! sorted, good link there weeal, it says the same as neti and beads said but i also checked all the connectors and the one from the back of the tele was not in right!!!!!!!! I bet i knocked it when i was polishing today !!!
