Not sure yet as I haven't actually bought the tree or thought about when I'm going to do it.

No kids in my house so I can leave it quite late without getting any grief!

I hate decorating the tree. I usually put it up about 12 days before xmas, but this year i'll probably put it up earlier for the wee one.

Yep, I'm going to my mum's in the morning and we'll spend all day turning our house into a grotto. It's over the top, but always looks brilliant. I'm in charge on the tree. I'm dropping off my bloke at my dad's with my brother for a good few hours on the PS3 and to keep out of our hair. Get that Christmas CD on! :o)

We usually buy ours the 2nd week in December. We've got a very naughty puppy this year, so i'm dreading what she's going to do to the tree and baubles, or worse both !

My trees won't be going up until another 3 weeks at least. I have two that I bought a couple of years ago from IWOOT.One is bright pink and the other is black.....I don't like traditional ones.lol

Mine will probably go up in 2 ish weeks, no little ones here.... i miss the christmasses we had when our 2 were little- magical ...

Ive decided that this year Im going to stick a bit of tinsel and a couple of baubles on my yucca plant :)
But knowing Im not going to get away with just that with a 6 year old, Im probably putting mine up in a couple of weeks.

Hi Patricia et all :o) Mine isn't going up till Weds 12th as I can't even start to feel christmassy until I get the school xmas dinner out of the way. I'm cooking for about 180 (teachers and governers included)Everytime I think about it I feel sick so have decided I will put it up that night as I will start to feel more relaxed by then :o) I keep sneaking the odd christmassy thing out but just don't feel excited whilst I have this looming over my head.

Next weekend for me - I usually like to put it up about 12 days before Christmas, but it needs to be a weekend really as I never get time during the week. I think that to do it too early makes it seem a long wait 'til Christmas for the kids. Calendars start this weekend though and we will go into town to see the lights.

I'll be putting our tree & dec's up around the 10th.

It'll be fun this year, as apart from the grandchildren helping, Milly the kitten will also want to join in!

We're going to tie the tree to the rad in the bay - just in case! ;o}
