I took my son to the Doctor yesterday as has not been well for a couple of weeks - swollen glands, lack of appetite, sore tummy, oure throat and an occasional temperature. He has still been going to school and doing sports, but just a bit under the weather. The doctor diagnosed a viral infection in his tonsils which she said would also affect his tummy and said to leave him for a week as see how he improves. That was fine, but last night I noticed that his urine is a pinky brown colour. I phoned to speak to the doctor this morning and she is not in today, but spoke to the nurse who asked me to bring in a sample later today.

Has anyone come across anything like this before? I know that they will test his urine anyway, but I am still a bit worried.
