I know there are a plethora of questions asking:

"Where are you from?"

"What do you look like?"

blah blah blah

My question,

What are you educational qualifications, and grades if you allow me to ask?

This is not a competition, as perhaps the most intelligent person I know is an academic failure, so there.

I am both a qualified brain surgeon and rocket scientist....

Or just a very deluded doll with a degree in English.
For my Standard Grades I got 4 ones and 4 twos, I had been homeless for the 4 or 5 months leadig up to these and got asked to leave school shortly after sitting all these as my attendance for the 4 years leading up to then had dropped to less than 80% on account of those last 4 or 5 months. Went back to college when I was 18 and got BBBC in my highers although one of the B's is only for the final exam as I didn't sit a NAB so failed the whole course as a result. Went to uni after that but dropped out after fracturing my skull and falling behind with my course work. Couldn't concentrate for weeks. I passed a Mensa home test when I was about 14 and got 100% in the test to get into the navy when I was 16 before failing failing my interview.

Hi wardy, I was asked to leave school at the age of 15, so I never took any GCEs, so my education consists of going to the university of life, I don't think I am thick, others may think differently, but I have always worked and never been on the dole.
I have a Baccalaureat (French version of A Levels!) with distinction (probably equivalent to a B+), a higher degree in Political Science and a postgrad diploma in English to French translation (DipTrans).
BTEC National Certficate in Business & Finance

BTEC Higher National Certificate in Business & Personnel

BA Hons (First Class) in Business Administration
GCSEs I got 2 Bs, 3 Cs and 4 Ds, wont mention the U I got :)

BTEC National Diploma in Childcare and Education

Passed first year at uni in Social Science and Early Childhood Studies.

Now going back to college to study Textiles.

And I have an IQ of -22.

But I did the test after 3 bottles of champagne, 2 vodka jelly shots, a screaming orgasm and a packet of salted peanuts. I probably wasn't on top form. It should've at least been nearer the zero mark.
I have an "A" level in life , does that count ?
GS, it sounds like you really climbed the ladder there. I have done some bar work, but not at a high level like that in somewhere posh like Oxford! I really enjoyed the social aspect too, and found it enjoyable. Worked tills in a hardware chain for almost 3 years too while I was doing A Levels.
But I had always wanted to do what I'm doing now, eventually. SO here I am!
I understand that I am in a fortunate position, being able to attend uni, live independently with my partner and enjoy a reasonable standard of living for our income. I am working now too, so that's a help. But it's not always that easy, and it's amazing that despite the emphasis placed on education, there is little incentive to engage in it. My course has been such hard work, and I have been on the verge of quitting so often (as have most of the class!) but I have learnt so much, and it's set me up in a career i will love forever.

I am not so concerned about the money I will earn, as long as we get by, I just want to be proud of what I do and enjoy it too.

GCSEs : 4 As (Maths, German, Core Science, Futher Science), 2 Cs (English Lit & Lang) and 2 Ds (Geog & Technology).

Grade B - German for Business (forget who or what is the qualifying body for this).

A Level : 2 Ds (Computer Science, German) and an E for Maths. In my defence I did get a U for my Comp Sci project (I changed my design half way through) so must have got about a B for the exam. And I got an A for the German written exam, but a U for the oral exam (I froze and hardly spoke at all).

Went to Uni to do Computer Science and German and dropped out after realising the first year was basically GCSE German and A Level Comp Sci. Plus I thought starting at the bottom of my particular career ladder would be time better spent.
